This sermon is the first in a new series entitled “In the Shadow of the Cross”. Events from the final week of Jesus’ earthly life will be dealt with both on Sunday morning and then continued during the Sunday evening service.
Introduction: The book of Mark illustrates 18 miracles Jesus performed. One of those miracles – the barren fig tree (Mark 11:12-14), is the subject of today lessons.
The analogy of the barren fig tree relates directly to the fruit we bear in terms of living for Jesus. Listen and learn!
