This sermon is #3 in the series entitled “In the Shadow of the Cross.” Events from the final week of Jesus’ earthly life will be dealt with in both the Sunday morning and evening services. This series will continue until Easter.
Today we look at a specific need of Jesus, and that was a means of transportation to Jerusalem. The means of transportation and the date had to coincide with prophecy as written in the Book of Daniel. The means of course, was a donkey, and the date was what we know to be Palm Sunday.
Listen and enjoy as Pastor explains how the donkey was taken from it’s owner and used by Jesus. There was no other possible way for our Lord to enter Jerusalem. And like that donkey, we need to be readily available to Jesus to fulfill His specific need, which is The Great Commission… sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
